Paleo Sweet and Spicy Chinese Chicken Dish
Golden crispy, paleo sweet and spicy Chinese chicken dish. Moist, and crunchy, smooth, and flavorful. Healthy and junky but oh so mouth-wateringly delicious.
This delicious homemade Chinese chicken dish is gluten, dairy, and grain-free, no MSG, no soy. no nuts.
Homemade Chinese Vs Takeout.
It is often hard to find a Chinese restaurant that offers gluten and dairy-free alternatives and when they do, how likely is it that you trust their ingredients are of high quality? When you make your own Chinese you can consume it peacefully, knowing exactly what is in your food because you made it.
Considering Chinese food is hard to find gluten and dairy free, it is likely that the choice left is usually steamed. As a huge fan of junky Chinese food, steamed can get boring fast. I am so incredibly happy to have found this recipe. It tastes Amazing, it is better than eating out and I do not have to worry about having a reaction because I make it myself.
There are no hidden ingredients and no cross-contamination. No soy, no grains, no gluten, no dairy, and it’s nut free. It could totally compare to a take-out version. One might not know the difference, and this dish would absolutely impress any friend or family member who dines with you. I hope you enjoy every single bite as I do!
Tips When Making:
Frying
This sweet and spicy Chinese chicken dish is most delicious when it is fried to crispy perfection. If it is not fried long enough, it will get gummy in the end. You want golden tenders before simmering. However, if you overcook your meat it will get dry and chewy.
White or brown rice, another grain or no grain. The choice is yours. I love the combination of every single ingredient.
The Vegetable Makes The Dish
I personally do not enjoy sliced red pepper. Asparagus was not in the original recipe, but oh my god it is so so good. You can pick any vegetable that sounds good and switch it out. Just cook it separate from the food and add it to the dish at the end to warm it up. Honestly, the vegetables that you love the most are the right vegetables. Choose one or have some fun and choose them all.
Special Thanks and absolute gratitude to GraceAndGranola for the origin of this Amazing Recipe!
Start boiling your rice water (Medium Pot) and asparagus water (Large Pot). You will also need a stir fry pan. Plus 3 small bowls and a plate for the raw chicken, and 2 serving plates. Coconut amino (A soy-free and gluten-free alternative to soy sauce) and Arrowroot flour (The starch of a root)
can be found at your local health food store, but it is becoming more popular, so you may be able to find it at you're local grocery store in the specialty foods aisle.Paleo Sweet and Spicy Chinese Chicken
