Encouragement and Non-Judgment
Nurturing Her Roots is my personal journey and my happy place. I encourage acceptance, non-judgment, and the respect and kindness that we all deserve. Please help us maintain this encouraging space and keep negative comments to yourself. There is always a nice way to say things, even criticism.
Your Responsibility
While I provide you with an abundance of information, I encourage you to do your own research. I can direct you to many resources that could help you as they have helped me, but you have to take the initiative to learn for yourself and find out what works for you. Remember: what is right for one person may not be right for another. Everything you need comes from within. You are the one solely in connection with your body, life, spirit, and soul. You got this.
Finding My Way to Happiness
Through nutrient-dense foods, essential oils, community, faith, and a lot of self-development, I feel happier than I have ever been. I have learned to love myself and remind myself that I am only human. If these are things you struggle with, you’re not alone, and you’ve come to the right place.
How You Can Find Happiness
- Treat yourself like your own best friend. If you aren’t happy with yourself, accept it and work towards a happier future.
- Find and use resources that work for you.
- Explore your thoughts and dreams.
- Make mistakes; it’s part of growing. You will eventually figure out what works for you. Until then, remember that you own a unique journey that cannot be replicated.
- Learn how to correct yourself without shaming yourself.
- Most importantly, keep trying. When you finally succeed the results will be rewarding.
You are so special and unique. The question is do you know it? There will never be anyone quite like you.
My Reality
Learning that I want to better myself is what helped me to create Nurturing Her Roots. I needed a place of positivity and motivation, a place that holds my passion, and a place that would take me away from reality. NurturingHerRoots is how I choose to channel my negativity into something positive that I can work with.
This site allows me to follow my dreams no matter my situation. I wanted to help myself, so I did. Now I want to help you realize that you can help yourself too.
Happy Nurturing,
Amanda.
